Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client who is looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their team in Bradford on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a driven, motivated character that is looking to gain exposure in to month end management & financial accounts whilst pursuing their ACCA/CIMA.

Description
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Provide support during audits and assist with audit preparation.
- Contribute to improving financial processes and systems.
Profile
A Successful Assistant Accountant Should Have
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
- Desire to study ACCA/CIMA
- Passion for continuous development and improvement
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Speaking a European language is preferred but not essential
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £30,000-£34,000
