We are now seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our UK platform and support the day-to-day operation of the Finance function.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting month-end accounting activities and wider finance operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to broaden their experience, develop their technical accounting skills, and grow within a rapidly expanding international business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Expenses
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage supplier and employee expense queries.
- Support payment runs and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
Banking & Reconciliations
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
Month-End & Reporting
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting processes.

Systems & Finance Support
- Support the implementation and continued development of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Assist with finance projects, process improvements, audit requests and ad hoc reporting.
- Provide support to the Financial Controller and wider Finance team as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented and eager to develop their career within a growing finance function.
Skills & Experience
- AAT qualified, currently studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience working within a finance team.
- Experience in Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Experience using accounting systems or ERP platforms is advantageous.
- Insurance or financial services experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
