This isn't your typical Assistant Accountant role.

We're working with a growing, entrepreneurial group behind some seriously recognisable names in sports fashion, and they're looking for an Assistant Accountant who wants to be part of the journey.

The office? Let's just say it's a little different from your average finance department. Think drum kits, turntables, huge LEGO models, signed sporting and music memorabilia, iconic products and a genuinely creative environment. But this isn't style over substance. The business is growing quickly, and this is a role where you'll have real responsibility and the opportunity to grow with it.

You'll have ownership across stock analysis, sales ledger, and monthly MI reporting, including:

  • Managing and reconciling stock, costing and inventory data - your experience with stock is important here
  • Sales invoicing and cash allocation across multiple businesses
  • Working with Xero, Shopify and stock/order management systems
  • Supporting gross profit, margin and management reporting
  • Working with multi-currency and international customers
  • Supporting month-end and CID/invoice finance processes
  • Deputising for the Head of Finance and becoming a key member of a small finance team
  • Improving processes and helping the business become smarter as it grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
