We're delighted to be partnering with an iconic British luxury retailer to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team at their stunning Head Office in the heart of Liverpool.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting month-end close activities
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with management accounts preparation
  • Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assisting with year-end and audit activities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and controls
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives across the finance function

About You

  • Studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or looking to begin)
  • Previous finance experience within an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a close-knit team
