ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT – TREASURY FOCUS
3-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT | KIRRIEMUIR, ANGUS | HYBRID
Grw Talent’s client is a well-established and fast-growing international industrial and technical textiles business, with a rich history of textile manufacturing in Scotland dating back to the late 1800s. With operations across Scotland, the USA and China, the business is currently undertaking a major investment programme to consolidate its two Scottish sites into a new state-of-the-art facility in Dundee. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with a particular focus on treasury and transactional finance.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will support the finance function across a range of key areas, including:

- Supporting month-end close and key account reconciliations
- Daily nominal ledger management and control
- Assisting with rolling weekly cash flow forecasts
- Managing Debtor and Creditor Ledgers
- Credit control and payment management
- Supporting wider treasury activities
- Working with invoice finance arrangements
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- PQ or QBE
- Experienced within a busy finance environment
- Confident with reconciliations and nominal ledger management
- Experienced in managing debtor and creditor ledgers
- Comfortable working with cash flow forecasting
- Experienced with Invoice Finance ideally
- Exposure to Trade Loans would be advantageous but is not essential
- Available to commit to a 3-month fixed-term contract
