Assistant Accountant — 6 Month FTC
Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We're looking for an ambitious, part-qualified Assistant Accountant (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) to join our client's growing finance team on an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract, with genuine potential to become permanent.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Sales ledger, credit control, and weekly sales reporting
- Daily cashbook updates and weekly bank reconciliations
- Month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and sign-off
- Assisting with management accounts, year-end, and audit prep
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset register and bank payment runs
- Monthly payroll preparation and other ad hoc duties for the FD

What We're Looking For:
- Part-qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA with month-end experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
