About the Role

We're working with an incredible high-growth UK Fintech based in the City. They've already got very strong financial backing, have scaled rapidly over past few years with an ambitious founding team, and already recognised as one of the UK's fastest growing Fintech startup's.

They are now in their next phrase of growth and looking for a very ambitious Graduate or AAT student with 1 - 4 years of experience in a finance assistant type role who wants to step up!

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly under a FD where you can be mentored and have ownership in finance team of 3.
  • Experience and excitement by change and automation - keen to integrate AI to automate manual transactions and reconciliations to allow focus on more value add.
  • Initially own the AP and month-end plus will be mentored from day 1 by the FD to step up to produce accounts and also produce the founder reporting.

Ideal Candidate

  • Polished individual with 1-4 years of experience in a very lean team (ideally reporting to a FC or HOF) with clear signs of all round ownership.
  • Can own the AP and already had ownership at month end.
  • Fintech or startup is nice to have but not essential - needs to show ability to work in fast paced role where they can add value and want to progress.

Location and Salary

  • Location: London City
  • Salary: £32k - £40k (depending on experience)

Working Conditions

  • Type: Permanent
  • Arrangement: Hybrid (Usually 2 days from home each week but want someone who wants a more office focused role so they can engage with stakeholders and progress!)
