Assistant Accountant | £34,000 + Study Support | Reading (Hybrid)
I’m recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing business based in Reading.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting career within a supportive finance team, with a broad role and plenty of exposure across month-end and wider finance.
The Role Will Include:
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Billing and Accounts Receivable
- Intercompany accounting and recharges
- Supporting the annual audit
- Ad-hoc analysis, projects and process improvements

What We’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified and keen to progress onto ACCA/CIMA, or already studying ACCA/CIMA
- Good hands-on accounting experience
- Strong Excel and finance systems skills
- Confident, proactive and keen to develop
