Are you ready to take your accounting skills to the next level? As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting budget managers within the Children and Families directorate. In This Exciting Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting Budget Managers: Work closely with budget managers across various teams to ensure effective budget management.
- Monitoring Budgets: Assist with day-to-day finance tasks and budget monitoring to keep everything on track.
- Providing Financial Advice: Offer valuable financial insights to managers when needed.
- Data Analysis: Use your excellent spreadsheet skills to analyse and reconcile complex financial data.
- Contributing to Decisions: Play a part in decision-making processes that positively impact our services.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
- Full AAT Qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Financial Management: Understanding of financial frameworks, particularly in a public sector setting.
- Experience in Finance: Previous experience working in a finance team is highly desirable.
