Assistant Accountant - Belfast
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation in Belfast as they recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role:
Reporting to the Directors job duties of the Assistant Accountant will include:
- Assist with the timely production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of month end reconciliations
- Assist with the timely production of the Group's VAT returns
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts
- Maintenance of intercompany accounts
- Any other duties outlined on the job description

The Person:
The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in a working in a similar industry role
- Comfortable looking after accounts independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
