Job Description

Purpose of The Job

Take the first step in building a career in fund administration by supporting a diverse range of fund structures and client entities within Ocorian's global network. In this role, you'll gain exposure to client administration, corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and fund operations while working alongside experienced professionals who will support your development. You'll play an important part in maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating key administrative activities, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, build confidence in working with clients and stakeholders, and grow your expertise within a collaborative and internationally focused environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build your knowledge of client structures, governing documents, and fund administration processes to support the effective delivery of services.
  • Take ownership of allocated administrative tasks, ensuring client matters are managed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned cases, building strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of meeting documentation, attendance notes, statutory records, and other client deliverables to a high standard.
  • Partner with Client Accounting Solutions and other internal teams to support accounting, reporting, billing, and related client activities.
  • Maintain accurate client records, databases, and documentation, ensuring information remains current and accessible.
  • Monitor client matters, identify potential risks or issues, and escalate them appropriately to support excellent client outcomes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications Required

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Educated to A-Level or degree standard, with a willingness to work towards a relevant professional qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Well-organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities, maintain accuracy, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Proficient in using technology and business systems; previous office-based experience would be beneficial, while fund or trust experience is not essential.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in learning and developing within the financial services industry.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate professionally and contribute effectively as part of a team.
