Assistant Aftersales Manager
Location: North Yorkshire
Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 OTE + Company Car
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
Holiday: 22 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
Pybus Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Assistant Aftersales Manager on behalf of a well-established automotive business. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious automotive professional looking to take the next step in their career within a busy and successful dealership environment.
Working closely with the Aftersales Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Workshop, Parts and Bodyshop departments, helping to drive performance, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Control workshop activity and manage daily workloads
- Oversee the Parts Department, including ordering, stock control and workshop supply
- Support the efficient operation of the Bodyshop
- Provide guidance and support to Service Advisors
- Ensure all aftersales processes and procedures are followed
- Monitor workflow, productivity and departmental performance
- Deal directly with customers and resolve queries professionally
- Support technicians and maintain effective communication across departments
- Take responsibility for the Aftersales operation when required

Requirements
About You
We are looking for an automotive professional with strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair who is organised, customer-focused and able to lead by example.

- Experienced Vehicle Technician looking to progress into management
Management experience is not essential. Our client is more interested in your technical knowledge, attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
You should be confident in:
- Communicating with customers and technicians
- Managing workloads and departmental priorities
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Supporting team development and performance
