ASSISTANT AFTERSALES MANAGER
EXETER | £35,000 BASIC | £45,000+ OTE UNCAPPED | MONDAY–FRIDAY

THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an experienced automotive Aftersales professional to join the team in Exeter as Assistant Aftersales Manager.
This is a hands-on management opportunity for someone who wants to develop their leadership experience, take on greater responsibility and ultimately progress into a full Aftersales Manager position.
- £35,000 basic salary
- OTE up to £45,000+
- Uncapped earning potential
- Monday–Friday working pattern

THE ROLE
- Support the Aftersales Manager with the day-to-day running of the department.
- Help lead and motivate the Aftersales team to achieve operational and commercial targets.
- Maintain high standards across Service, Parts and customer experience.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support customer retention and ensure a consistently high level of service.
- Step up and take responsibility for the department when required.
- Develop your management and leadership skills with a view to progressing into an Aftersales Manager position.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need:
- Previous experience within an automotive Aftersales environment.
- Strong understanding of Service and Aftersales operations.
- Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience.
- Commercially aware with a strong focus on customer experience.
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead and influence a team.

- Previous Assistant Aftersales Manager or similar experience.
- Experience within a main dealership environment.
- Strong Service Advisor or Workshop Controller background with management aspirations.
- Experience across both Service and Parts.
- A genuine ambition to progress into a senior Aftersales management position.
