Assistant / Associate Analyst, Quality Control

We Are Rosemont

With a portfolio of over 130 products, including 70 licensed medicines, we’re proud to support healthcare professionals and patients, particularly those with swallowing difficulties.

Our purpose is clear: to improve patient outcomes through innovation in liquid formulations. We are highly respected across the pharmaceutical industry and have played an important role in establishing best practices for dysphagia care.

Our mission is to create a globally connected, people-focused organisation where everyone is empowered to thrive and achieve their best. If you want to make a meaningful difference to patients around the world while developing your career within an organisation with a strong heritage and ambitious vision, we’d love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Analyst (Raw Materials) and Associate Analyst (Finished Product) to join our Quality Control team.

In this role, you will help ensure the quality, safety and compliance of our raw materials, packaging components and finished products. Working in our Quality Control laboratory, you will perform analytical testing in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and support the safe and compliant release of Rosemont materials and medicines.

This opportunity may be appointed at Assistant Analyst or Associate Analyst level, depending on your qualifications, knowledge and relevant laboratory experience. It offers the opportunity to build your career within a regulated pharmaceutical environment and gain experience across a range of analytical techniques and Quality Control activities.

Due to the laboratory-based nature of the position, you will be required to work on site Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your experience and the level at which you join us, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing physical and analytical testing of finished products, stability batches, raw materials and packaging components using approved and validated methods.
  • Conducting analytical testing using HPLC and other relevant laboratory techniques.
  • Carrying out chemistry, microbiology and preservative efficacy testing against applicable USP, EP and BP pharmacopoeial monographs.
  • Conducting visual inspections of finished products.
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming raw materials and packaging components.
  • Accurately documenting chemistry, microbiology and packaging analyses in accordance with good data-documentation practices.
  • Reviewing data from internal testing and contract laboratories for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Identifying and reporting quality events, including out-of-specification, out-of-trend and aberrant results.
  • Supporting or participating in laboratory investigations, including helping to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions.
  • Completing routine equipment calibration and supporting the maintenance or qualification of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Identifying equipment issues and working with technical support colleagues to facilitate their resolution.
  • Preparing, reviewing and revising Quality Control procedures, work instructions and technical reports.
  • Supporting stability studies, risk assessments, reference-standard management and environmental-monitoring activities.
  • Contributing Quality Control data and method-transfer documentation for regulatory submissions, where required.
  • Maintaining high standards of laboratory safety, cleanliness and good housekeeping.
  • Supporting an effective Quality Management System and complying with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting wider departmental and business requirements when needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
