We’re working in collaboration with a Top 10 firm who are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audits and building trusted relationships with clients.
This is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility, from leading on-site audit work to mentoring junior colleagues, while developing your leadership skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As part of our team, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of industries and clients, helping you strengthen your technical expertise and broaden your commercial insight.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead on-site audits: Drive audit engagements, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering a smooth, effective process for clients.
- Support and mentor: Guide junior team members, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their performance and development.
- Engage with clients: Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring exceptional service throughout the engagement.
- Problem-solve and improve: Proactively identify and resolve audit issues, streamlining processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality.

The ideal candidate will bring:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience carrying out assurance-related tasks within a professional services firm, perhaps you work for a large independent or a Top 100 firm, seeking a move into Top 10.
- A track record of producing high-quality assurance work.
- Strong client-handling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
