Role Overview
At ETM Group, being an Assistant Bar Manager is a key leadership role and an important step in your progression within premium hospitality. You're not just supporting the bar - you're helping shape the guest experience, driving standards, and supporting the delivery of exceptional drinks that reflect our premium positioning and EPIC values.
Across our ETM Collection venues - from rooftop bars to refined dining spaces - our Assistant Bar Managers play a vital role in bringing each concept to life. Whether supporting cocktail execution, maintaining high service standards, or creating a vibrant bar atmosphere, you contribute to delivering memorable guest experiences every day.
Working closely with your Bar Manager and General Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the bar, taking ownership of key areas including team development, stock control, and service delivery. This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, support your team during service, and help drive both quality and performance.

The Ideal Candidate Will Present
- Proven Experience: You have experience in a supervisory or junior management bar role within a high-quality or premium environment.
- Leadership Skills: You are a confident and approachable leader, with a passion for supporting and developing your team.
- Product Knowledge: You have a good understanding of cocktails, wines, spirits, and current beverage trends.
- Guest-centred Approach: You lead by example, delivering excellent service with attention to detail and consistency.
- Commercial Awareness: You understand the basics of stock control, cost management, and driving bar performance.
- Operational Confidence: You are comfortable supporting a busy bar operation and maintaining high standards during service.
- Problem-Solving Ability: You remain calm under pressure and can support in resolving challenges during busy periods.
- Hands-On Approach: You are present on the floor, supporting your team and helping deliver a smooth and professional service.
