As part of Crimson Hotels, you will join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton London – West End, a contemporary 4-star hotel located in the heart of Bloomsbury, just a short walk from the British Museum, Covent Garden, and London's famous West End theatres. Our hotel offers 275 stylish guest rooms, a modern restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks throughout the day, as well as flexible meeting and event spaces suitable for business meetings, conferences, training sessions, and private events. With an excellent central London location and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality, DoubleTree by Hilton London – West End provides memorable experiences for both business and leisure travellers.
What your day will look like?
As an Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager, your day will involve:
- Leading the food and beverage team
- Ensuring smooth service across all areas
- Supporting daily operations
- Handling guest feedback
- Working closely with the kitchen and other departments to deliver exceptional dining experiences from start to finish

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Food & Beverage Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of all F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and brand standards are consistently delivered.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Food & Beverage team to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, food safety and presentation across all F&B areas.
- Assist with budgeting, payroll control, cost management and driving revenue opportunities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and performance management of team members.
- Build positive employee relations through regular communication, recognition and development.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety, food hygiene and licensing regulations.
- Carry out Duty Management shifts when required and work collaboratively with all hotel departments.
- Act as a role model, delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
The Person
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences. You’ll have previous supervisory or management experience in a busy hospitality environment, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the confidence to manage day-to-day operations while supporting and developing your team. You’ll lead by example, ensure high standards of service, support the achievement of financial and operational targets, and create memorable guest experiences through a positive, hands-on approach.
