Job Title: Assistant Bars Manager

Full Time

Salary: £32,460.96 per annum

Location: Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Bars Manager to support the day-to-day running of our bars and help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Working alongside the Bars Manager, you'll lead by example, inspire the team, maintain high service standards, and ensure smooth bar operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Bars Manager with the daily operation of our bars
  • Supervising and motivating the bar team to deliver outstanding service
  • Assisting guests and resolving any issues quickly and professionally
  • Helping manage stock levels, place orders, and minimize wastage
  • Supporting staff training, coaching, and development
  • Assisting with rotas and daily team organization
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations
  • Carrying out regular compliance and safety checks

Personal Specification

Essentials

  • Must have previous supervisory experience in a bar or hospitality environment
  • Must have extensive knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and bar operations
  • Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail

Desirable

  • Have previous experience working in a high-volume venue
  • Have food Safety qualification
  • Have knowledge of health & safety legislation within food and beverage operations

Shift Pattern

Full-time contract

  • 5 out of 7 days a week / 40hrs per week
  • Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business such as working evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
