Assistant Beverage Manager – Leopardstown, Fairyhouse and The Curragh Racecourses, Horse Racing Ireland, Dublin area | Full-Time / Permanent
Up to €40,000 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, retail discounts, meals on duty, and more.
We're looking for a Assistant Beverage Manager to support with leading bar operations across our Horse Racing Ireland venues. You will work across some of Ireland's biggest race-day events at Leopardstown, Fairyhouse and The Curragh Racecourses.
As Assistant Beverage Manager you will deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment. You’ll play a key role in driving service standards, managing teams, controlling stock and costs, and ensuring full compliance across all race-day and event operations.

Assistant Beverage Manager - The role
- Lead stock & inventory management, including event-day and monthly stock takes
- Order, receive and control stock to ensure accuracy, quality and minimal waste
- Coordinate seamless bar set-ups for race days and high-profile events
- Ensure all bars are fully stocked, compliant and ready before service
- Support fast-paced bar operations while delivering an outstanding guest experience
- Supervise, train and coach beverage team members to maintain service excellence
- Help recruit, onboard and develop a high-performing, motivated team
- Assist with staffing coordination and rota planning for efficient event delivery
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth event operations
- Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, licensing compliance and responsible alcohol service

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within bar, beverage, or hospitality operations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and event days
- Full Irish driving licence and access to own vehicle required (travel expenses provided)
