We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager working for our Alfreton branch.
About the role:
We have a rare opportunity available to join our very successful Alfreton Branch Team due ongoing growth here at Hayley.
We’re looking for a collaborative natural leader to support all team members, and wider colleagues across the Group. You’ll thrive in a busy environment and will love getting stuck into the daily running of Branch life.
You’ll have strong commercial acumen and excellent skills with a track record of overseeing and developing internal and external sales teams. We’re looking for excellent product knowledge as well evidence of managing or supporting the management of a P&L and margin improvement.

The successful candidate will have hands on experience within the MRO sector and will ideally have experience already at assistant manager level or sales management level position.
What we’re looking for in our Assistant Branch Manager:
- Strong leader / Team coach - driving performance
- Experience of internal and external sales.
- Ability to build and develop sales strategy and provide support to the team.
- Excellent commercial acumen. Ability to step up and support the Branch Manager with full P&L (revenue, margin and costs)
- Excellent customer relationship management
- Proactive style; keeps finger on the pulse of market trends.
- Experience of stock management, order fulfilment and H&S.
- Strategic thinking - development of wider business strategy.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Multi-site business exposure
- Preferred experience of the MRO sector.
