Assistant Branch Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Branch Manager to lead our team in our Swinton branch. This role is crucial in ensuring operational excellence and driving sales growth while maintaining our high standards of customer service. The Assistant Branch Manager will oversee daily operations and foster a positive work environment.
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30am to 17:00pm, and alternating Saturdays 08:00am - 12:00pm
Pay: £32,000 - £35,000 DOE

Responsibilities:
- Support the Branch Manager to lead and manage branch operations to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
- Supervise and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently across all interactions.
- Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with other branches to share best practices and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with transport planning, ensuring smooth operations and prompt deliveries.

Requirements:
- Proven management experience within the building materials sector (Essential)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Proficient in administrative tasks related to branch operations.
