We’re TIP Group – a proud Great Place to Work® – and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team.

At TIP Group, we keep the transport industry moving — and our operations teams play a vital role in making that happen. We’re looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Assistant Branch Operations Manager to support the smooth running of maintenance, vendor management, and customer service operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing work orders from start to finish — raising jobs, validating maintenance history, authorising additional work, and ensuring accurate coding and documentation
  • Controlling costs by managing warranties, challenging maintenance charges, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring pricing aligns with agreed rates
  • Coordinating service activity including scheduling maintenance, managing reservations, ordering parts, and supporting MSU (Mobile Service Unit) job allocation
  • Supporting customer service excellence by handling calls, responding to requests quickly, and ensuring service events and documentation are correctly logged in systems
  • Working closely with a supportive, hands-on team that values your input

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
