Main Purpose of the Role
The Assistant Brand Manager will support the Brand team in the planning and execution of brand activations, campaigns, and product launches. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their brand career to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of brand functions, from photoshoot coordination and market research to content management and cross-functional collaboration. The Assistant Brand Manager plays a vital supporting role in ensuring brand activity runs smoothly and on time.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Bring energy, fresh ideas, and enthusiasm to the team, contributing to a collaborative and creative brand environment.
- Support the Brand Manager in the planning and execution of product launches, campaigns, and brand activations.
- Assist with the organisation and logistics of photoshoots across e-commerce, lifestyle, and campaign needs, including sample organisation, travel and accommodation bookings, and model/photographer/HMUA bookings.
- Help maintain and update key internal brand documents to ensure accuracy and accessibility across the team.
- Assist in coordinating content distribution to relevant internal teams ahead of launches to ensure seamless workflows.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with marketing, merchandise, and creative teams to help deliver timely content.
- Support the wider brand team and social media team by contributing creative ideas, assisting with content planning, capturing behind-the-scenes and in-house content, and helping to bring the brand to life across social platforms.
- Conduct market research to track consumer trends, competitor activity, and industry insights, reporting findings to the Brand Manager.
- Assist with the management of brand budgets, invoices, and freelancer bookings as directed.
- Support the writing of copy for web, social media, and CRM as required.
- Develop familiarity with AI tools relevant to brand workflows, such as content ideation, copywriting assistance, and project organisation, to improve efficiency and time management across activations and projects.
- Help manage relationships with external creative teams and suppliers under the guidance of the Brand Manager.
- Ensure all output aligns with brand guidelines and principles.
- Assist with influencer activities and brand events as needed.
- Help co-ordinate internal staff events, supporting the brand team with logistics, communications, and on-the-day execution.
- Provide general administrative and organisational support to the Brand Manager and wider brand team.

Person Specification
- 1-2 years of experience in a brand, marketing, or related role (internship or placement experience considered)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- A team player who can also work independently when required
- Passion for brand, fashion, or the relevant industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Location
Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stone’s throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
