About the Role
Macgregor Black are partnering with a growing toy brand on the search for an Assistant Brand Manager.
You will work within a busy marketing team, supporting the department to develop and implement creative and commercial marketing initiatives across UK and EMEA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the best global licensed franchises as well as a strong portfolio of our own IP brands.
Relationships are key to the success of this role, which requires collaborative working internally, and externally with our retail customers and licensing partners, whilst also liaising with our US and international colleagues daily to maximize marketing initiatives and sales. We are looking for the next marketing star that can develop and progress from Assistant Brand Manager through the ranks for a long and varied career within the business.

- Maintain and ensure accuracy on seasonal line lists and sales decks for assigned brands
- Be an expert on item code set up and pricing for assigned brands
- Liaise with global US brand teams as well as local EMEA markets on product, marketing, licensing, and sales requests
- Lead the implementation of digital marketing campaigns, and support with other media requirements
- Manage influencer campaigns across EMEA markets, from product send-outs to campaign effectiveness
- Assist with the selling-in process, presenting to internal Sales teams and at retail previews across various brands
- Assist in the coordination of EMEA sales meetings
- Support the set up and maintenance of the UK and EU showrooms, key toy fair stands, and PR events, including sourcing and tracking all samples, packaging, and product boards
- Manage PO creation and budget management for owned activities
- Support with the review and analysis of promotional and marketing campaigns (sales uplift, in-store implementation audits, etc.)
- Manage image, product, and listings requests for both retail customers and licensors
- Support the collation of data for licensor submissions and joint business planning
- Provide support to any ad-hoc requests relating to sales, marketing, and licensing needs
- Opportunity for international travel to attend Toy Fairs, key licensor meetings, and local store visits
- Execute marketing initiatives that are going to drive brand awareness and sales, in line with licensors' objectives
- Ensure marketing activations support the ethos of the brand(s)
- Accurate and up-to-date information dispersion across product lines, marketing assets, and brand marketing beats
- Ensure positive brand reputation is maintained amongst team and stakeholders

What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in Marketing Exec/Coordinator or similar role
- Confident working with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in the media landscape, trends, and insight to support development within this role
- Business or Marketing degree beneficial
- Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to work on a variety of projects within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Professional and confident face-to-face presenter
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and ambition to develop
- Interest in gaming and pop culture would be beneficial for a licensed-focused role
