About the Role

Would you like to work for the world’s largest family-owned winery, home to a diverse portfolio of nationally and internationally recognized wine and spirits brands seen in all major supermarkets across the UK. We are hiring an Assistant Innovation Manager to help drive growth for Gallo across the EMEA region. This unique and exciting opportunity would see you supporting the creation & development of new brands within the wine and alcoholic drinks category, focused on key European markets for Gallo including the UK, Poland and other key regions.

Work Pattern

This role is on a hybrid working pattern based in our Uxbridge office. 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home.

Please note this role will require full UK right to work as this role is not sponsored.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience executing consumer research and digesting a range of data sources to identify consumer-driven commercial opportunities. They will then take these insights to inform the creation of new brands (including liquid, packaging and communications) which meet the needs of the target consumer identified, influencing the go-to-market process from start to finish. The candidate would ideally have strong experience working on complex projects with a variety of different cross-functional stakeholders, being comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment. They will have natural abilities to influence those around them to gain buy in for the project to ensure it moves forward at pace. This will include presenting to internal stakeholders for buy in of new concepts, to sales teams to excite them about new opportunities and to external customers (e.g. supermarket buyers) to gain new listings.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of brand marketing, trade marketing, new product/ brand innovation or insights experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience developing a new brand from scratch, including liquid, packaging and communications.
  • Worked within the alcoholic drinks industry or for a FMCG company.
  • Skilled in drawing insights through consumer research data and trend information.
  • Have managed complex projects including cross functional partners.
  • Working directly to influence all levels of management.
  • Successfully developed and implemented the launch of new products across a number of markets or channels.
