About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team, supporting the continued growth of Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy across the UK & Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their career in FMCG marketing and gain hands-on experience working with two iconic consumer brands. You’ll work closely with experienced marketing colleagues and cross-functional teams, supporting the delivery of brand plans, campaigns, promotions and portfolio activities while developing a strong understanding of brand and commercial performance.

From analysing consumer and sales data to supporting media campaigns and bringing promotions to life, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute across the full marketing mix and see how great brand ideas are turned into action.

Main Responsibilities

  • As Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day management and performance of the Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy portfolio, working closely with the wider Marketing team to deliver key brand priorities.
  • You’ll monitor sales performance, consumer KPIs and competitor activity, using data and market insight to identify key trends and help turn these into clear actions.
  • You’ll also support sales planning and provide analysis that helps the team understand how the brands are performing and where opportunities may exist.
  • You’ll play an active role in the delivery of brand communication and media activity, supporting conventional and digital media planning, campaign implementation and evaluation. Working with internal teams and external agencies, you’ll help coordinate activity and assess its impact to inform future plans.
  • Across the portfolio, you’ll support packaging and artwork development, working with design and repro agencies and coordinating with relevant internal teams to ensure projects progress effectively through the required approval processes.
  • Promotions will also be an important part of the role. You’ll support the development and execution of consumer promotions, working collaboratively with Trade Marketing, Sales and Legal to coordinate activity, monitor progress and evaluate performance.
  • You’ll also contribute to consumer and shopper research, including competitor analysis, store checks and research projects, helping translate findings into meaningful recommendations and next steps for the brand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
