Assistant Building Services Manager

We are working with a leading main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects who are looking to hire an Assistant Building Services Manager on a flagship commercial office development in Central London.

This is a permanent opportunity offering clear progression, genuine responsibility, and the chance to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured work across the commercial sector.

The successful candidate will be supporting one of the Senior Managers on a Commercial Office in Central London.

Responsibilities for Assistant Building Services Manager

  • Support the Senior Technical Services Manager with the coordination and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health services from pre-construction through to completion
  • Assist with reviewing MEP design information and identifying coordination, buildability, and value engineering opportunities
  • Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers to support programme delivery
  • Monitor the quality of MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards
  • Support technical reviews, RFIs, and design development throughout the construction process
  • Assist with planning, sequencing, and monitoring the progress of building services installations
  • Coordinate interfaces between MEP trades and the wider construction team
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities
