Your Impact

Within the Retail department, the Assistant Business Manager is responsible for actively driving and increasing business, encouraging all Beauty Consultants to achieve their sales targets, and ensuring all clients receive a personalized luxury service.

This role is crucial for achieving sales goals across make-up, skincare, and fragrance, leading and coaching a team of Beauty Consultants, and maintaining the luxury brand image. The holder of this position will work closely with various functional partners, including Business Manager, Beauty Department Manager, Counter team, Parfums Christian Dior clients, Area Managers, Department store colleagues, Retail Managers, Department store Managers, RMAs, and Department store HR Departments.

Position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Day-to-Day Missions

  • To set targets for all Team Members in line with Company expectations.
  • To pro-actively sell Parfums Christian Dior products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers.
  • To lead and coach your team to ensure all Team Members, along with yourself, are aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • To pro-actively link sell across product categories, to increase average transaction value (ATV) and average transaction units (ATU).

Service

  • To educate and train Team Members on the use and history of Parfums Christian Dior products.
  • To be knowledgeable on all Parfums Christian Dior products and be able to propose personalized products to clients and confidently and appropriately overcome any objections.
  • Demonstrate products on clients by means of flash make-overs and confidently explain the benefits of each product.
  • To initiate contact with customers and welcome them both on counter and through traffic stopping.

Management

  • To proactively manage all Team Members, identifying coaching and development opportunities and support with training and guidance.
  • To manage stock levels, working in partnership with the Area Manager to ensure that there are sufficient levels.
  • To proactively grow your business through events, appointments and return bookings.
  • To ensure all operational and administrative tasks are complete and to the best of your ability.

General

  • To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with Corporate guidelines.
  • To adhere to all Company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • To build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures.
  • To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team.

Profile

Ideally, you would have 3 years’ experience in the luxury beauty domain.

  • Proactive Selling and Link Selling: Demonstrated skills in proactive selling across product categories to increase ATV and ATU.
  • Product Knowledge and Education: Deep knowledge of Parfums Christian Dior products, their use, and history, with the ability to educate others.
  • Client Consultation and Objection Handling: Proficiency in proposing personalized products and confidently overcoming objections.
  • Product Demonstration: Ability to perform flash make-overs and explain product benefits.
  • Stock Management: Experience in managing stock levels in partnership with Area Managers.
  • Business Growth through Events: Proven ability to proactively grow business through events, appointments, and return bookings.
  • Operational and Administrative Task Management: Ability to ensure all tasks are complete and to a high standard.
  • Merchandise Management: Ensuring visual merchandising is in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Cosmetics and make-up application knowledge.
