Role Overview

MR PORTER is seeking a talented and commercially minded Assistant Buyer to join our dynamic Buying team.

Key Details

  • Location: Westfield office in Shepherd’s Bush
  • Department Size: 4 (Approx.)
  • Reporting to: Buyer
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (4 days in office)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for buying trips and appointments
  • Manage orders and pricing
  • Monitor competitors and pricing alignment
  • Drive in-season trading
  • Lead weekly trade reporting
  • Support launches and on-site standards
  • Support team performance and projects

Required Experience and Skills

  • Experience at a BAA or equivalent level in fast-paced fashion retail buying or merchandising
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Strong analytical and advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with stringent deadlines
  • Great sense of humour, personal style, and attitude
