Working Pattern:
Typically 5 days in the office, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

We’re on the hunt for a passionate, trend-led, and seasoned Menswear Assistant Buyer to join our team in Market Harborough focusing on a new Brand License as part of The Set’s continued growth. This role is across The Set Mens and also a new Brand License.
What You’ll Take On
We are expanding our portfolio through exclusive new brand licensing partnerships, driving the end-to-end creation of high growth, next-generation brands.
- Range Development: Assist in creating a commercially successful collection aligned with The Set's bold vision.
- Fit & Quality Excellence: Supporting in fit sessions, ensuring garments meet quality standards, and assisting with lab dip and strike-off approval process, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards. Support with the progression and development of items through meticulous oversight, ensuring all colour and material standards are met before production.
- Supplier Collaboration: Communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers, ensuring smooth processes and timely deliveries.
- Cost Negotiation: Work with suppliers to achieve competitive costs and meet key performance indicators.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse sales and trends to identify new opportunities and shape future collections.
- Sample Management: Coordinate samples for meetings, photoshoots, and other key stages in the product life cycle.

What You’ll Bring
Menswear experience is a must! We are looking for someone with vast experience of working within Menswear at Assistant level, who can demonstrate the following:
- Trend Awareness: A sharp eye for trends and what’s next in fashion.
- Own Label Expertise: Proven experience in assisting with developing unique and compelling own-label designs.
- Detail-Oriented Approach: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive mindset, ready to innovate and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute to the launch of a fresh new brand, where your ideas and efforts will have a tangible impact on the success of The Set.
