Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Assistant Buyer supports QVC International, and provides essential buying and administrative support to help deliver a compelling product range that meets sales, margin and stock targets.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Chiswick Park, London location 2 days a week minimum. Onsite days are predetermined and consistent across the business.
What You'll Do
- Manage and monitor the critical path, ensuring product information is accurate, sample arrivals are on time, and updates are communicated effectively to relevant teams. Liaising with suppliers on samples, product queries and administrative matters to support this
- Collate and present product, sales and trend information, including preparing packs and materials for key trading and strategy and vendor meetings.
- Support the Buyer and Junior Buyer with product range development, helping to deliver against sales, margin and stock objectives within a specific category area
- Assist with supplier meetings, customer service queries, meeting coordination, and other day-to-day department administration

What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a buying, merchandising, retail administration or similar commercial support role with the ability to prioritise effectively, work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Good analytical skills, commercial awareness and confidence working with sales data, product information and reporting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across buying, planning, supply chain and supplier teams with a problem-solving mindset, good judgement and adapting to change
