As an Assistant Category Manager you will support the Category Manager in all aspects of vendor operational management, ensuring best-in-class data integrity, reporting, system tools and operational processes. You will work across functions with Sales, Purchasing, Profit Management, Business Intelligence and vendor partners and play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting profitable growth and enabling informed business decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle, ensuring accurate product setup, maintenance and data integrity.
- Manage vendor pricing activities, including pricing exceptions and corrective actions with Profit Management teams.
- Oversee the Ship & Debit process in partnership with the central Barcelona team.
- Collaborate with Purchasing teams on stock allocation, provisioning and inventory planning.
- Analyse sales-out and stock performance data to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Build strong operational relationships with vendor partners to support forecasting and product planning.
- Contribute to business planning and help deliver quarterly Gross Profit (GP) targets.
- Provide day-to-day support to sales teams on pricing, product information and operational queries.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in a commercial, product, vendor management or technology-related environment.
- Knowledge of the IT industry, vendors, distribution channels and market dynamics is advantageous.
