The Role
As The Assistant Catering Contract Manager, You Will
- Support the day-to-day management of school catering operations.
- Oversee catering teams, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Monitor Health & Safety, food hygiene and compliance across multiple school sites.
- Attend client meetings and build strong relationships with school stakeholders.
- Support staffing, recruitment and training where required.
- Provide operational support, including occasional hands-on catering during busy periods.
- Assist with financial and operational performance across the contract.

About You
To be successful as the Assistant Catering Contract Manager, you'll have:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Catering Manager, Catering Manager or Catering Supervisor.
- Experience managing catering operations within education, healthcare or contract catering.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or be willing to undergo one).
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety and allergen management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- IOSH Managing Safely and Level 3 Food Safety qualifications are desirable.
