Our client who is one of the UKs fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses, are currently looking for an Assistant Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Westbury.
As an Assistant Centre Manager you will work closely with the Centre Manager to manage daily operations, optimise workflow, support the workshop team and ensure the centre meets its commercial, customer service and compliance targets. To be applicable for this role, you must have a background within the Automotive industry. They are happy to look at people who are already Assistant Centre Manager, or someone who is ready for there 1st step into management.
Location: Westbury
Pay / salary: Basic: £33,000 £36,000
OTE: Approx. £6,000 per annum, based on KPIs
Shift and schedule: 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week

Assistant Centre Manager Responsibilities:
- Support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the centre
- Coordinate workshop staff and manage daily work routines to ensure an efficient workflow
- Maintain strict control over stock and inventory values
- Guide, coach and mentor workshop mechanics to help achieve customer satisfaction and business targets
- Step into the workshop and physically assist technicians with mechanical issues when required
- Support the achievement of commercial sales KPIs and overall centre performance
- Handle customer enquiries and use commercial awareness to identify opportunities to grow the business
- Develop and support local customer accounts
- Ensure strict workshop compliance and high operational standards are maintained
To be an Assistant Centre Manager you will need:
- Full clean UK driving licence, held for at least 6 months Essential
- Experience within a technical or mechanical working environment
- Strong automotive product knowledge
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and commercial awareness skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support the workshop team when required
