The Vacancy

As an Assistant Centre Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of our centres. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their commercial, operational, and leadership skills, while delivering a great customer experience and supporting centre performance.

You will work closely with the Centre Manager, deputising where required, and playing a key role in customer service, sales support, and community engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Service & Front of House

  • Act as a key point of contact, maintaining a visible presence within the centre.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and manage queries or complaints effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Support viewings and promote available space and services.
  • Help drive occupancy and revenue through proactive engagement.
  • Develop knowledge of local competitors and market activity.

  • Support a strong customer community through events and engagement.
  • Promote the centre and customer activity internally and externally.

Operations & Centre Management

  • Deputise for the Centre Manager when required.
  • Work with FM to maintain high standards across the centre.
  • Support H&S compliance and customer move-in/out processes.

Finance & Performance

  • Support delivery of rent roll, occupancy, and budget targets.
  • Assist with arrears and identifying cost efficiencies.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong customer-facing experience with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Confident communication (verbal and written).
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
