Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Assist with the review of engineering drawings and design information, identifying discrepancies and supporting the resolution of technical queries.
  • Work closely with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are properly coordinated.
  • Support senior engineers in assessing design changes and understanding their impact on engineering requirements and project delivery.
  • Assist with responding to technical queries from clients, contractors and project teams, escalating complex issues to senior engineers where required.
  • Support site inspections, surveys and construction activities, helping to verify that works are being completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure engineering work is completed in accordance with nuclear safety requirements, quality procedures, project standards and applicable legislation.
  • Maintain accurate project records and contribute to the preparation of technical and project documentation.
  • Develop technical knowledge and professional experience through mentoring, training and on-the-job learning.
