Assistant Client Accountant

Location: West End, London
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Start date: ASAP

Highlights

  • Up to £40,000 for a role open to those with one year's accounts experience
  • A defined development path towards Client Accountant, with training from senior colleagues

About the opportunity

An established property and asset management business is looking for an Assistant Client Accountant to join its Client Accounting team in the West End, with an immediate start available. You will report to the Senior Client Accountant and support day-to-day client and property accounting across an allocated portfolio, while building the technical grounding to step up to Client Accountant.

What makes the role exceptional

This role is built around progression. You won't be stuck on one part of the ledger. You will work across the full client accounting cycle (invoicing, receipts, service charge budgets, year-end schedules, bank reconciliations and payovers) with structured guidance from experienced colleagues. The business works to clear values, including trust and integrity, pragmatism and accountability, so you will know exactly what is expected and how to succeed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
