We give you a world of potential

At Computershare, we're at the heart of good corporate governance, supporting boards, committees and regulated entities across our business. As our Assistant Company Secretary, you'll join a small, highly collaborative team where you'll gain exposure to senior executives, non-executive directors and key stakeholders across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced company secretarial professional or someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive environment. You'll gain broad exposure across governance, board support, compliance, corporate projects and strategic initiatives, making this a varied and rewarding role with significant opportunities for professional growth.

Working closely with the Deputy Company Secretary and wider governance team, you'll play an important role in maintaining strong governance frameworks while building valuable relationships with stakeholders across the business.

This full-time role offers the chance to work with stakeholders across the UK, Ireland, and the Channel Islands. To support this, occasional travel will be required to attend meetings, strengthen key working relationships, and contribute to the successful delivery of governance activities.

A role you will love

No two days are the same in this role. You'll provide Company Secretarial support to Boards, Committees and Forums, ensuring meetings are effectively organised, documented and delivered to the highest standards.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, executive and non-executive directors across the business, helping to coordinate governance activities and ensuring key actions are tracked through to completion.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Coordinating Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, meeting papers and Board packs
  • Attending meetings, drafting high-quality minutes and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing actions, matters arising and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of Board portal systems
  • Maintaining statutory records and governance documentation
  • Assisting with annual Board and Committee planning and governance activities
  • Supporting statutory audits, governance reviews and compliance requirements
  • Contributing to governance projects, process improvements and wider business initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
