We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our nursery team at our Gosport setting. In this role, you will support our Nursery Cook and step into their position when needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a busy school or nursery kitchen
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Understanding of food allergens and COSHH guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Ability to manage daily tasks with a flexible approach to prioritizing workloads
- Good rapport with children

- Part-time: Monday – Friday 10-2pm, 20hrs week, 51 weeks a year able to step in to the nursery cooks role increasing hours to 7-2.30 when covering.
- Starting salary: £13,312.00
