Based from one of our offices in Warrington, Derby or Manchester

Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge. We are in pole position to become a world leader in SMRs and the UK's premier green export technology.

The Cost & Estimating team plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our SMR programme. Partnering across projects and functions, the team provides the cost intelligence, controls, and reporting needed to support informed decision-making and programme performance.

In this context, we are looking for an Assistant Cost Engineer to support our Cost Engineering team, reporting to a Cost Manager or Project Controls Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to build foundations in project controls, develop specialist cost engineering expertise, and contribute to one of the UK's most ambitious clean energy programmes.

We'll Need You To

  • Support the collection, validation, and analysis of project cost data
  • Assist with maintaining cost logs, change registers, accruals, and budget updates
  • Contribute to the production of cost reports, dashboards, and monthly performance reporting
  • Develop expertise in cost engineering tools, systems, and project controls processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
