Contribute to work that supports the long-term security of pension scheme members. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring finance professional, trainee accountant, or analytical graduate looking to develop their career in financial analysis, pensions, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the assessment of the financial strength of employers participating in TPT pension schemes.
  • Delivering the annual Financial Assessment process for multi-employer schemes.
  • Analyzing financial and non-financial data to identify risks and trends.
  • Supporting covenant reviews, affordability assessments, and valuations.
  • Preparing reports and analysis for trustees, committees, and internal stakeholders.
  • Responding to financial assessment queries and managing the Client queries inbox.
  • Maintaining covenant records and management information.
  • Researching regulatory, economic, and sector developments relevant to employer covenant.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

We're interested in your potential as much as your experience. If you don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Currently studying financial qualifications or keen to begin studies (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Commercially aware with a strong interest in finance, financial analysis, or accounting.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with data for report writing and monitoring of dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
