Do you thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, solving complex business problems? If so, joining TUI Airways as Assistant Crew Controller could be just the role for you.

You’ll become part of a team in the heart of the Operation, working alongside the team responsible for the delivery of the airline operation for Pilots and Cabin Crew, utilising resources as efficiently as possible ensuring requirements comply with legal & industrial agreements and that budgetary restrictions are met whilst maintaining outstanding customer service.

As our TOCC operates on a 24/7 basis 365 days per year, the role will be shift-based. Covering a combination of day (7:30am - 7:30pm) and night (7:30pm - 7:30am) shifts, which could span weekends and Bank Holidays (shift patterns may be subject to change in line with business requirements). We currently have both permanent positions and Fixed Term Contract roles available.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Be the first point of contact for both the Flight Deck and Cabin crew community within TUI Airways
  • Responsible for maintaining and amending changes to the crew communities live roster, ensuring the flying programme is maintained
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Operations team and other key stakeholders within TUI

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience within a fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience of working with policy and/or legislative agreements
  • A creative problem solver, able to consider alternatives and arrive at a logical decision
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working under pressure in a reactive environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service-based role
  • Process and detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • An enthusiastic ambassador of change who makes suggestions for improvement
  • Experience of the Airline/Aviation industry or a keen interest in this would be highly regarded
