Salary range: £45,022 - £47,672 per annum inclusive of London weighting
Contract: Fixed term (24 months)
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Brent Start Hillside Centre and other locations from time to time

About the role
As an Assistant Curriculum Manager, you will be dedicated to delivering learning success through close collaboration with the teaching team. Your focus will be on the success of the learners to support improvement within the department. You will support the Curriculum Manager in the delivery, design and development of our Vocational programmes (Digital Skills, Early Years, Health & Social Care), maintaining an oversight of the student journey to ensure they have an excellent learning experience.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A generic adult teaching/training qualification at level 5 e.g. DTTLS or equivalent
- Level 2 Maths and English, minimum GSCE grade C or equivalent
- Detailed knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies
- Relevant successful teaching experience in Digital Skills OR Early Years or Health & Social Care
- Experience of developing and implementing policies to support learners and curriculum
- A track record of working with awarding organisations
- Experience of leading a team
- Good IT skills, including use of databases, spreadsheets and virtual learning environments
