Assistant Design Manager - Central London - Commercial Refurb & Fit-Out
Fawkes & Reece are proud to be working with a leading specialist contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London.
They are looking to bring an Assistant Design Manager into their team, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the contractor side of the commercial fit-out sector.
The role would suit an Assistant Design Manager, Design Coordinator, Architectural Technician or Architect with experience across commercial office projects, particularly CAT A, CAT B, refurbishment, and fit-out.

You will work closely with the Design Manager and wider project team, supporting the management and coordination of design information through to construction and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Design Manager with design development from pre-construction through to construction
- Coordinate design information across consultants, subcontractors and project teams
- Review drawings, specifications and technical information
- Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors and site teams
- Assist with the coordination of CAT A / CAT B fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Identify and help resolve design and coordination issues
- Assist with design programme and information tracking
- Ensure design information is coordinated, buildable and delivered to programme
- Attend design and coordination meetings with project stakeholders
