About the Role

Century Facades is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to support the delivery of technically complex façade projects across a diverse portfolio.

Working closely with the Design Manager and wider project teams, you will play a key role in managing the façade design process from design development through manufacture, installation, and completion. You will help ensure designs meet aesthetic, technical, and performance requirements while aligning with programme, budget, and regulatory standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone ready to step into greater responsibility, combining technical delivery with design coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Project Delivery

  • Support the release of coordinated and approved design information into procurement and manufacture, ensuring design priorities are aligned with the project construction programme.
  • Support the management and coordination of façade design from concept through to completion.
  • Deliver design packages in line with design programme, budget, and project requirements.
  • Assist in developing practical, compliant, and buildable technical solutions.
  • Ensure all drawings and design information are issued accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and communicate design changes, risks, and additional works.

Design Coordination & Management

  • Help manage design programmes, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate design team activities (internal and external).
  • Lead or contribute to design team meetings and technical discussions.
  • Monitor RFIs, design changes, and drawing registers.
  • Support production of Contractor’s Design Proposals (CDP) and technical submissions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
