About the role
Join our Design team and help shape the creative direction of our Kids Nightwear & Underwear ranges. Working alongside the Design Manager, you'll support the design process from concept to final product, creating commercially relevant, customer-focused designs that delight our customers.
You'll bring a strong eye for print, graphics and product innovation, identifying emerging trends and key product opportunities to help influence the range. With the ability to adapt your design style across different age groups and genders, you'll work collaboratively with Buying, Technical and Merchandising teams to develop exciting products customers will love.
You will be responsible for
- Using knowledge of customers, trends and competitors to make regular recommendation of product innovation.
- Leading on projects and areas of the ranges from initial research, through to development and final product.
- Proactively managing workload, hitting key deadlines and adhering to the buying cycle.
- Working closely with the Graphic Designers to develop original, trend-led prints, placements and all-over prints that align to the key categories.
- Producing detailed technical design packs and work collaboratively with suppliers to achieve a “right first sample" approach, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback throughout development.
- Analysing customer insight, market trends and best and worst sellers for future seasonal strategies, identifying opportunities.
- Working to the design critical path and supporting trend, development and production timeline to ensure all key milestones and business deadlines are achieved.
- Actively own career path though PDP (Personal Development Plan) and seeking feedback through daily conversations.
- Effectively briefing and guiding Graphic Designs to deliver seasonal prints.

You will need
- A strong portfolio demonstrating ability to create commercially successful collections across multiple products.
- Proficiency in designing using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. Powerpoint and 3D Design (CLO) software experience is a bonus.
- Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fabric & printing techniques with the ability to create detailed technical packs that clearly communicate design intent.
- Previous experience working within kidswear sector and confidently briefing the graphic team.
- Amazing organisational skills. Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to confidently present ideas to Design, Buying and leadership teams.
- Work collaboratively with Buying, Merchandising and technical teams.
