WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Director to support the Director of Enterprise Development in leading InterTradeIreland's enterprise portfolio, which currently focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation, and supporting them in the delivery of the organisation's strategic priorities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a high-impact role that combines senior leadership with line management responsibility for programme managers, ensuring the cohesive design, delivery, and oversight of major programmes and supports that deliver measurable benefits for InterTradeIreland, businesses, and stakeholders across the island.

The post-holder will also deputise for Directors as required and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to help inform and implement organisational strategy.
As a senior member of staff, responsibilities will include leading the development of existing and new initiatives, ensuring that InterTradeIreland is strategically positioned within the wider economic support ecosystem across the island through effective external stakeholder engagement.

THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE:
- A degree or equivalent third level qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ management experience contributing to the development of an organisation’s strategic plans and objectives.
- A minimum of 3 years’ management experience translating agreed high-level corporate strategy into actionable team operational plans.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience leading, managing and developing high-performing teams, with responsibility for performance management, resource planning and delivery against agreed objectives and deadlines.
