Your purpose will be:
Working with the Director of Finance, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Finance who will be responsible for the preparation of monthly month-end journals for posting, maintain fixed asset register, details of balance sheet schedules, and bank reconciliation.
Job Description
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliation schedules
- Prepare bank reconciliation
- Provide timely & accurate financial information to management
- Prepare quarterly GST reports
- Prepare governmental survey reports
- Prepare General Ledger journal postings for month-end closing, including prepayments, provisions, allocations, memo accounts, etc.
- Maintain & upkeep Fixed Assets Register
- Monitor new Fixed Assets purchases in compliance with hotel requirements & approved budget
- Manage the review and commitment of payroll

Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting / Finance, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, within a mid-scale luxury hospitality environment, preferably within an international hotel brand.
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting systems
- Relevant experience in a similar capacity within a hotel or facilities management environment.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with brand standards.
