Whereas Hyatt House Manchester offers modern suites, fully equipped kitchens, and complimentary laundry facilities, making it a luxurious, yet true, home-from-home experience.
The Role
As Assistant Director of Sales, you will support the Director of Sales in leading the Sales & Events team and driving commercial success across both Hyatt Regency Manchester and Hyatt House Manchester. You will play a key role in generating revenue, developing client relationships, and maximising profitability across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Group Sales, Event Sales, and Planning activities across both hotels.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and business development activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event organisers, universities, and key business partners.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and client engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximise total hotel performance.
- Coach, develop, and inspire the Sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen market position.

- Has proven experience in hotel sales, events, or commercial leadership.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills.
