An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Estate Manager to join the team responsible for an iconic portfolio in West London, working alongside one of the property industry's most respected managing agents.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career within estate and property management, taking on a varied role where strong organisation, communication and relationship management skills are essential.
You’ll work closely with the wider property management team, supporting the day-to-day running of the estate and acting as an important point of contact for tenants, contractors and stakeholders.
THE ROLE...
As Assistant Estate Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the estate, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting the Estate and Property Managers with the day-to-day management of the portfolio
- Managing a range of administrative duties, correspondence, records and property documentation
- Liaising confidently with tenants, occupiers, contractors and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the management and coordination of contractors and service providers
- Supporting regular estate and building inspections and following up on any issues identified
- Raising and monitoring works, helpdesk requests and maintenance actions
- Assisting with service contracts, specifications and contractor performance
- Supporting the team with service charge and property management administration
- Keeping records and systems up to date and ensuring actions are followed through to completion
- Providing general support to the wider property management team and helping to ensure the estate is maintained to a high standard

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident dealing with people at all levels. You’ll ideally have experience within property, estates, facilities management or a similar environment, together with:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience liaising with tenants, occupiers, contractors and suppliers
- Previous contractor or service provider management experience
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- The confidence to communicate professionally with a range of stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep on top of deadlines
- Good IT and systems skills
- A genuine interest in developing a career within estate/property management
